Coal-free UK powers on

Extending the period of coal-free energy, Britain has managed a whole month without coal.

The figures were looking good when 18 days were passed, but now this figure has been nearly doubled. The National Grid ESO revealed that over 727 hours of continuous generation without coal –fired power stations being used.
