Recruitment software company Hireserve has created a guide to volunteering for business leaders, HR professionals and all those focused on enhancing their organisation’s CSR and internal communications.
Employee Volunteering: A best practice guide covers areas such as secure buy-in and engagement for an Employee Volunteering Scheme (EVS) and the benefits staff volunteering to the organisation.
Written to cover all sizes of company, the text explains the concepts and advantages of volunteering, the business advantages and creating a raft of ongoing support. There is a section on meeting the common objections and barriers, matching resources and needs, and addresses some of the common misunderstandings between commercial and voluntary organisations.
