A poll of the public that indicates a general unwillingness to reduce the amount they drive, fly and eat meat despite the growing awareness of climate change.
In the Sky poll 56 per cent say they will not reduce the amount driven, with only 28 per cent saying they would be willing to reduce this (17 per cent already do not drive). Even the issue if flying splits the population, with 53 per cent saying they would be unwilling even in principle to reduce the amount they fly, while 28 per cent say they would be willing to give up travelling by plane.
The poll, however, might not be fully representative, as it was carried out by Sky Data from a sample of 899 Sky customers by SMS.
