Two major insurers reject Adani

Two major London insurers, RSA Insurance Group and Conduit Re, have ruled out underwriting Adani’s controversial Carmichael coal project in Australia.

The decision to decline underwriting leaves the Adani Carmichael Coal Mining project with few options for its insurance and there are only a handful of underwriters currently willing to take on more coal business.
