Clowes Developments has named Parkinson’s UK as its charity partner for the next year.
The charity was one of a number nominated by staff that was put to a company wide vote.
“This inclusive and collaborative approach ensures the chosen charity reflects causes that resonate with the team,” said the property development and investment firm.
Last year’s charity partner was Macmillan Cancer Support. During its year of activity, the firm raised £65,000 for the charity.
“I am delighted to see that our team has chosen to support Parkinson’s UK for the next 12 months,” said Clowes managing director Thomas Clowes.
“There were a number of outstanding charities shortlisted, and any one of them would have been a worthy beneficiary.”
Fundraising activity for Parkinson’s will include hosting a charity quiz night.
Parkinson’s community fundraising manager Jo Berry added: “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with Clowes Developments as their Charity of the Year.
“This collaboration is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of Parkinson’s and bring people together to make a real difference.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the Clowes team for choosing to support Parkinson’s UK, and we’re excited to work together over the coming year to create meaningful impact for everyone affected by the condition.”
