Norway's sovereign wealth fund, one of the largest in the world, is to exclude all holdings in G4S because of the company’s links to potential human rights violations.
Following a recommendation from Norway’s Council on Ethics, G4S will be blacklisted due to its provision of security services in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
G4S shares fell by 3.6 per cent on the news, before a partial recovery.
