Tech firm Webtrends Optimize is handing two charities free 12-month licences to use its conversion rate optimisation platform.
Headway, which supports people who have had a brain injury, and MQ Mental Health have been awarded access to its platform that aims to help organisations increase income and donations.
“It was a difficult decision to provide just one charity free access to our SaaS platform, so after much deliberation we decided to award our grant to two charities. We know how tough it is to run a charity and how important it is to have an effective website and we feel confident that with our support, this grant will make a real difference,” said the firm’s chief executive Matt Smith.
Each year Webtrends Optimize donates 2% of its revenue to good causes, as well as offering a discount to charities on its tools.
Headway head of digital Andrew Taylor said: “We’ve recently started a project to redesign our website, so receiving this grant is an ideal moment to now embed conversion rate optimisation into our plans.
“We want to ensure more visitors can quickly find the information they need, especially as many of our users are navigating cognitive, emotional or crisis situations after brain injury - a time where clarity and ease of use are essential.
“This also provides an opportunity to strengthen the fundraising and engagement that make that support possible.”
MQ Mental Health’s director of marketing Bryony Doughty added: "We were so pleased to hear the news that we had been awarded this grant. It will now allow us to test and improve messaging, page design, calls to action, and the overall user experience to help support even more vital mental health research.
“It will also help us identify barriers that may prevent someone from donating, whether that is the location of our donation page, how the case for support is communicated, or friction within the donation form itself."
