Commercial real estate firm Unibail Rodamco-Westfield is offering 15 grants of up to £1,000 to charities and groups in Croydon.

It has linked up with Croydon Voluntary Action to hand out the money through its Croydon Community Grant Fund to support charity and community group projects focused on youth engagement, homelessness support and improving women and girls safety.

New and existing projects are eligible and the deadline for applications is 17 August. Projects are due to begin from 14 September.

Also successful applicants may also be able to apply for further funding of up to £5,000 in 2027.

“In addition to funding, successful applicants will be offered access to capacity-building support from URW teams, with guidance available across areas including marketing, finance, legal and health and safety,” said the firm.

“URW and CVA will continue to work in partnership to deliver the programme, supporting local organisations to address community needs and contribute to the long-term resilience of Croydon’s grassroots sector.”
