Cambridge United has launched a search for a charity partner for the 2026/27 season.
The club, which was promoted from League Two to League One at the end of the current season, is offering fans the chance to nominate a local charity it will support.
Last year was the first time it opened up nominations to fans and saw the club support charity Romey Mill, which helps vulnerable young people in and around Cambridge.
The successful charity will be offered one themed matchday, including bucket collection, charity stall, free ticket allocation and programme article as well as fundraising opportunities.
A shortlist of charities chosen by fans will be put to a vote among season ticket holders.
The application deadline is Monday 15 June.
The club’s support for Romsey Mill last season saw it work with the charity on a special fourth kit design; players visit multiple youth sessions across the city; a video which spotlighted fans and Romsey Mill participants turned volunteers, and a dedicated charity matchday in April.
