A Scottish branch of financial and insurance advice firm NFU Mutual has donated £8,000 to the Mark Williams Foundation to support its work helping young people and families.
The donation has been handed out by NFU Mutual Borders to the charity, which will use the money for its entrepreneur apprenticeship and support for fathers’ programmes.
The Foundation was set up in memory of Mark Williams, the late chief executive of The NWH Group, to support families during separation and to empower young people through entrepreneurship.
Mark’s wife Nicola, who founded the charity, said: “This donation will create meaningful opportunities for young people taking part in our Entrepreneur Apprenticeship programme, while also strengthening the support we can offer to fathers and families within our community.
“Partnerships like this help us turn potential into progress and create lasting change for the people who need it most.”
NFU Mutual Borders senior agent Richard Forsyth added: “We are proud to support the Mark Williams Foundation and the vital work it does to empower young entrepreneurs and strengthen family relationships, both in the Scottish Borders and beyond.
“The Foundation’s programmes create real, lasting impact by helping individuals build skills, resilience, and hope for the future. We are pleased to play a part in helping to deliver its mission.”
