Horse racing media rights firm partners with Teenage Cancer Trust

Teenage Cancer Trust has been named as the first official annual charity partner for Racecourse Media Group, which handles the media rights on behalf of horse racing courses across the UK.

Over the next 12 months the company will fundraise and take part in awareness initiatives for the charity. Money raised will help fund the charity’s expert nurses and dedicated hospital units.

Events to take place aim to engage staff, customers and partners, said the media firm.

“Teenage Cancer Trust does extraordinary work supporting young people and their families during some of the most challenging times they will ever face, and we are incredibly proud to be partnering with them as our first annual charity partner,” said RMG director of marketing Clive Cottrell.

“This partnership is deeply meaningful to me personally and I have seen first-hand the difference that specialist care, dedicated staff and the right support can make.

“As a business, we are committed to using our platform and our collective energy to raise vital funds and awareness over the coming year, and to help make a real and lasting difference.”

Judith Anderson, senior relationship manager for East Anglia and London at the charity added: “We are delighted to partner with Racecourse Media Group as its first charity partner. Support from organisations such as RMG enables us to continue our mission of raising the standard of care for young people facing cancer.

“We are grateful for RMG’s commitment and look forward to working together over the next year to make a meaningful difference to the lives of the young people and families affected.”
