Cruise ship holiday agency ROL Cruise has announced that Alzheimer’s Research UK will be its national charity partner for 2026.
The decision to fundraise for the charity over the next year followed a vote among co-owners at the company, which operates as an employee-owned trust.
“We are incredibly proud to announce Alzheimer’s Research UK as our national charity partner for 2026,” said the company’s chief executive Gemma Cairns.
“Dementia touches so many families, and we’re committed to playing our part in helping fund the pioneering research needed to deliver better diagnosis, better treatments and ultimately, a cure. I’m excited to see our co-owners come together over the next year to make a real difference.”
Last year Colchester based ROL donated a total of £120,922 to charities, including Macmillan Cancer Support, Colchester Institute Foundation Trust and Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
