Global law firm Clyde & Co has announced that Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) is its UK charity partner for the next three years.
The charity was selected following a staff vote and will benefit from fundraising initiatives carried out by the firm’s 14 UK offices.
Volunteering opportunities for staff are also included in the partnership, including running CV workshops, mock interviews, as well as supporting events such as the London Marathon.
“Partnering with Teenage Cancer Trust aligns with one of the core pillars of our Pro Bono and Social Impact strategy,” said Clyde & Co global head of pro-bono and social impact Carline Loving.
“It’s a privilege to support a charity that makes such a meaningful difference to young people facing cancer, and we look forward to contributing to their vital work.”
The charity provides specialist nursing care and support to 13- to 24-year-olds with cancer, working with the NHS and youth services.
TCT senior relationship manager Julie Wood added: “We exist because cancer care wasn’t designed for young people. Without us, they’re often treated alongside small children or much older adults. We’re here to make sure no young person faces cancer alone.
“Being chosen as Clyde & Co’s UK charity partner will help us reach even more young people when they need us most.”
