Car firm to support cancer patients’ charity

Car leasing firm Silverstone Leasing has named The Lewis Foundation as its charity of the year for 2026.

The charity supports adult cancer patients by providing them with free gifts and support packs while they are in hospital and is based on Northampton, near to the car firm’s base.

The Foundation helps “bring comfort, dignity, and moments of joy during extremely difficult times”, said Silverstone Leasing.

“Their work is powered entirely by donations, volunteers, and partnerships with organisations that share their vision of making hospital stays a little brighter.”

It added: “At Silverstone Leasing, we have always valued organisations that put people first. The Lewis Foundation embodies compassion, dedication, and the power of community, the very values that underpin everything we do.

“Their team works tirelessly to deliver thousands of gift packs each month to hospitals, offering practical items, emotional comfort, and much-needed positivity.”

During 2025 the car firm will raise funds through events, sponsorships and community activities, will help increase awareness of the charity. Staff will also volunteer with the charity.

“We are excited for the year ahead and incredibly proud to support a charity that brings so much hope to so many people,” said the car firm.

“This partnership reflects our ongoing mission to give back, support our community, and stand alongside organisations making a genuine difference.

“Together, we look forward to a year of fundraising, awareness-building, and meaningful impact."
