Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) is partnering with Hands on London, a non-profit organisation focusing on community service, to pack hygiene and wellness kits to support the homeless.
The initiative is part of SVB’s annual Tech Gives Back week of community service taking place in October. Tech Gives Back is an interactive event created to provide the tech community with an opportunity to work alongside their colleagues and peers to positively contribute to their communities through meaningful volunteer work. More than 3,000 professionals within the innovation economy from across 200 companies in the UK, 11 US states, Canada, China and Israel will volunteer thousands of hours in one of the tech industry’s largest community service events of the year.
A special focus of Tech Gives Back this year is developing the skills of emerging professionals as part of SVB’s Access to Innovation programme focusing on creating opportunities for underrepresented people in the innovation economy.
