The Global 100 list that ranks corporations on their performance in reducing carbon and waste, their gender diversity among leadership, revenues derived from clean products, and overall sustainability has been published to coincide with the Davos summit.

Now in its 15th year, the ranking is compiled by a Canada-based financial information supplier Corporate Knights, beginning with a list of about 7,500 companies, all of which generate more than $1bn in annual revenue.

The top ten are:
1. Chr. Hansen Holding Denmark Food or other Chemical Agents
2. Kering SA France Apparel and Accessories
3. Neste Corporation Finland Petroleum Refineries
4. Ørsted Denmark Wholesale Power
5. GlaxoSmithKline UK Biopharmaceuticals
6. Prologis US Real Estate Investment Trusts
7. Umicore Belgium Metals
8. Banco do Brasil Brazil Banking
9. Shinhan Financial Group South Korea Banking
10. Taiwan Semiconductor Taiwan Semiconductors
