FX consulting firm Audere has launched a new service for internationally operating charities under its recently established social division known as ‘Charitytransfers.org’. As many iNGOs have a low level of foreign exchange knowledge, transfers can result in overcharging.
Through Charitytransfers.org, the company will now be offering its expertise, systems and technology to help the non-profit sector overcome such issues, and introduce transaction cost analysis (TCA) reporting which will provide, for the first time, accurate currency exchange cost analysis for charities.
Jack Blackmore, founder of Audere said: “Currency transactions are usually a significant component of a charity’s financial operations, yet the majority of international transactions are rarely measured against a reliable source and generally, the failure to measure transactions makes managing transaction costs difficult, if not impossible.”
