We are delighted to reveal the 2017 Better Society Awards shortlist. In all cases the standard has been very high, and on behalf of the selection panel we would like to congratulate those shortlisted, and reassure those not, that it is not because of a lack of quality.

This year we have received so many excellent entries that, as a result of this overwhelming set of nominations, we feel it is correct to have divided some categories so that the judges can compare similar projects more accurately, and ensure that outstanding entries are not discarded and consistent assessment.

The Better Society Awards celebrate the efforts that organisations make in order to help create a better society and the winners will be announced on 11 May 2017 at our new venue, the prestigious 5 star London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
