Charity launches service to improve businesses’ communication with young people

Young charity Artswork has launched a service to help businesses better engage with young people.

The charity has launched the service amid concerns that too often “a lot of youth voice activity is quite tokenistic” and to ensure that businesses invest in young people in areas such as testing ideas, improving workplace culture, and co-creating products and services.

The Young Consultants service involves insight from youth creatives from Gen Z, who are under 30 years of age, and the younger Generation Alpha, who were born after 2010.

The service is aimed at organisations looking to recruit young people, gain “honest feedback” on their brand and to develop youth focused approaches to working.

“Young people aren’t just tomorrow’s workforce - they’re today’s influencers and tomorrow’s majority consumers,” said Artswork.

“Their lived experience and cultural fluency offer organisations a significant advantage in staying relevant, inclusive, and competitive.”
