Shepherd Neame extends air ambulance charity partnership

Brewer and pub firm Shepherd Neame will continue supporting its current charity of the year Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex into 2026.

The partnership launched in July 2024 and has already raised more than £80,000 for the charity, which provides emergency room care in its fleet of helicopters.

Fundraising includes events at its Faversham, Kent, brewery and its 286 pubs and hotels, including golf days, quizzes, bingo nights and skydives.

It has also donated 50p for every children’s menu and the charity has benefitted from a partnership with digital charity box Pennies to offer customers the chance to make a 25p donation when they spend more than £25 by card.

Other activity through the partnership includes education and prevention sessions such as CPR and defibrillator training at its brewery and pubs.

“It has been brilliant working with the team at Shepherd Neame, their team members and customers,” said KSS head of corporate development Alex Redwood.

“Everyone at KSS is delighted that the partnership has been extended, giving us more opportunity to work together to raise vital lifesaving funds and spread awareness of KSS.”

Shepherd Neame chief executive Jonathan Neame added: “It has been fantastic to see the enthusiasm our partnership with KSS has generated – everyone in the business has got behind it.

“All the money donated will help the KSS team to save more lives. We are really looking forward to working with KSS into 2026.”
