Housebuilder offers grants to improve communities

Charities and community groups can apply for grants of up to £2,000 to be handed out by Miller Homes.

Housebuilder Miller Homes is offering grants to charities and community groups worth up to £2,000 each “to meet the needs and aspirations of people” in local areas.

The fund has a focus on groups supporting education, wellbeing, the environment and participation in sport.

Applications will be reviewed by employee volunteers knowns as Community Fund Ambassadors.

They will review applications and will make awards twice a year.

The fund is open to applications until 15 October.

Among recent handouts to good causes made by Miller Homes was a donation of £1,100 by its South Midlands office to NARA – The Breathing Charity.

“We’re delighted to be able to give back to the communities where we build homes, and supporting charities like NARA is just one way we can make a difference,” said the housebuilder.
