Monmouthshire Building Society has named St David’s Hospice Care as its next charity partner.
The building society will fundraise for the hospice over the next two years.
The UK wide palliative care charity has been chosen as it serves communities in South East Wales including in Newport, Tofaen, Caerphilly, Mid and South Powys, as well as in Monmouthshire.
“We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with St David’s Hospice Care, a charity that does such vital work in our communities,” said the building society’s chief operating officer Dawn Gunter.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with the team to help make a real difference to those who need it most.”
St David’s Hospice Care director of fundraising Kris Broome added: “We are thrilled to have been chosen by Monmouthshire Building Society as their charity of choice for a two-year partnership.
“Over the next two years, we look forward to engaging with their staff and encouraging them to get involved - not only by organising their own fundraising activities, but also by taking part in our exciting calendar of events, including abseils, runs, bike rides, walks, dinners, and much more.
“This partnership will help us raise much-needed funds to support our work, while also raising awareness of the free and wide-ranging services we provide to our community.
“We’re confident that, together, we can make a meaningful difference and inspire others to support our cause.”
