Panellist profile: Ashley Sweetland

Ashley is responsible for Internal Communications and Corporate Responsibility across Europe, Middle East and Africa at CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, having joined the business in January 2012. The role includes responsibility for CBRE’s responsible business and employee engagement programmes in EMEA. Previously, Ashley has led communications and CSR programmes for a variety of leading organisations including Lloyds Banking Group, BT, London 2012, Department for Education and the NHS. Ashley has also worked with a variety of leading charities, and managed award winning partnerships with Plan International, UNICEF and Shelter, and held Board level roles with St John Ambulance and the UK Youth Parliament. He was also a member of the Government’s Russell Commission on volunteering and NCVO’s Future Civil Society Leadership Commission. Ashley was awarded the MBE for services to charity in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in June 2012.
