About the DEC
The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 13 leading UK aid charities in times of crisis in the world’s poorest countries. We co-ordinate emergency appeals to raise money to help those impacted by disasters, ensuring that when lives hang in the balance, no time is wasted.
